VSO Meeting - September 2024

The VSO meets every two months to discuss, plan, and develop standards to support its members' interests. Observers are welcome. A meeting registration fee of $160 is charged for all in-person attendees.  VITA member company Southwest Research Institute has graciously offered us the use of their facility in San Antonio, TX for this meeting!  All attendees, both in-person and via WebEx must register.  Non-US attendees are welcome.   Please note that due to security requirements, VITA must submit the COMPLETE list of all in-person attendees by TBD. If attending in-person, please complete the extra fields for US Citizens or non-US Persons for use in pre-screening by SwRI security. This information will be deleted from VITA systems following the meeting. Registration will be closed on Wednesday September 11, 2024 for in-person attendees to allow time for screening.  No additional in-person registrations will be allowed after this cutoff date.

The building is a 20-25 minute drive from the Holiday Inn Riverwalk accommodations.  Carpooling is strongly recommended. Please bring your government issued ID to pass through the security gate.  Only attendees who have pre-registered will be allowed onto SwRI property so register today!

Hotel Block: 

Hotels room rates in the San Antonio Riverwalk area are currently around $170per night. We have negotiated a deeply discounted rate with the Holiday Inn Riverwalk of $145 per night for VITA attendees.  This is the same as the government rate but you do not need to be affiliated with the government. Parking at the attached garage is $24/day with unlimited in/out privileges . Special Hotel rate ends 4 September 2024.
